Most of our classes are provided in-person, in the school building. The school continues to run selected online classes for students who prefer to study from home. If you sign up for any course, online or offline, you will be taught in a small, level matched group of students by an experienced and friendly teacher. Discounts apply on early bookings.
In this 12 week course you will develop the communication skills needed in the workplace, e.g.: dealing effectively with customers and business partners, preparing reports, writing formal e-mails and giving presentations. Our teachers provide a wide range of practical activities including case studies and role play combined with more traditional exercises in business vocabulary and grammar as well as reading and listening. As part of the course syllabus, we also introduce elements of Business English Certificate exam preparation and many students decide to take the BEC exam after completing the course. Classes are held once a week on Wednesday evening or Saturday afternoon. In addition, you will be expected to do up to 2 hours of self-study at home (usually a written assignment and some additional exercises in reading, vocabulary and grammar)

Latest News [last modified 5 November 2024]:
Our in-house developed syllabus reflects communication challenges foreign employees might face while performing their duties at work in Ireland (or anywhere else if they rely on English for communication in the workplace). We put special emphasis on developing such skills as communicating with colleagues and supervisors, dealing with customers and business partners as well as preparing reports and presentations. We focus both on oral communication as well as different formats of written language used in the office environment. In class the teacher uses a wide range of practical activities including case study, role play etc combined with more traditional exercises in business vocabulary and some important grammatical aspects of the language used in an English speaking office.
The evening course consists of 12 weekly sessions, each 3 hours long. It is delivered in small groups of up to 9 students. All course materials are included. There are no extra charges. Certificate of completing the course will be issued to all students with the attendance record of 75% or higher. Please note this course is intended for participants with upper-intermediate level of English. The course requires around 2 hours of self–study per week..
